Evergreen advice! Oftentimes, we don’t stick with endeavors long enough for the compounding effects to kick in. But those that do will handsomely reap the benefits.

Yes we don't. And I get it - it's hard to stick to something, especially if you're not getting any signal.

It's a difficult pursuit. But that's what makes it worthwhile as well 😄

A thought provoking write up. Way back even Einstein said - those who understand the power of compounding earn it and those who do not pay it. Compounding is a wonder.

Very well articulated- indeed human brain understand instantaneous and hence growth or e-commerce and q-commerce! Compounding reminded me of the famous 70s DD short film called ‘ek chidiya, anek chidiya’ though the film was about unity it also reflects how one can see things in manifold rather than individually! Makes me think would it be easy to check for compounding bad habits that lead to outcomes we don’t want ?

I believe it should be - in my experience, we already know what isn't good for us. It's acceptance that's the hard part. Accepting you've been doing something "wrong" for a while, owing up your mistake and then making amends. Most would rather just continue deluding themselves with well justified reasoning
