This is going to be one lucky baby. My advice to all you young parents is, enjoy your children, surround them with all your love, they grow up too fast.

Thank you maasi 🙏🏻 And yes, that's sound advice. Time flies in any case!

Always such a pleasure reading your thoughts Adi. Congratulations on becoming a father. I don’t have any advice for you because I am not a parent yet, but all I have to say is that it’s refreshing to read an Indian man talking about fatherhood!

Appreciate the kind words and the wishes Khyati! Haha, that's an interesting take - I'd never thought of it that way. But culture has a massive role to play in our lives. I've never really identified as the typical Indian male anyways, maybe that has a part to play 😅

Appreciate the kind words, my friend! Hahaha, my wife would be very pleased to hear that 😂 (not that I wouldn't)

Congratulations!!! One thing is for sure- you can never imagine or decide upfront what kind of parent you will be, that’s decided by IT!

What my experience is - IT changes you in ways you never knew you existed; you become better version of yourself each day with IT!

Enjoy the journey and keep sharing your experiences and look forward to future parenting banters!

Thank you so much for the wishes and the thoughtful comment Damandeep 🙂

Haha, yes I do acknowledge that there's a vast gap between theory and reality when it comes to parenting. It's a little intimidating, but as is anything else that's meaningful

I do plan to share the journey!

haha this made me laugh and cry at the same time -> People complain about their “lives ending” after having kids. But I think they never had any “life” to begin with (no judgement, merely an observation)

Interesting you picked that line Vicky - it was something I was doubtful of keeping (slightly spiky pov which I keep to myself). Glad I put it out there though 🙂

How have you been!

It’s a good line! Good lesson for me too, spiky povs can make people chuckle 🙊 I’m good! Trying to figure out a better writing routine

As for me. Time to explore more as I write 😅

Good to know. You're a veteran now, I'm sure you'll figure it out!

My one advice - all difficult parts of parenthood are a phase. Get through the first few difficult months and then it gets SOOO good 😊❤️ This baby is gonna be absolutely awesome and so loved.

That's great advice Riddhi! The first few months are gonna be intense haha - bracing up for em lol. But also fun, can't wait to meet the kid (Sakshi hogs him all the time right now, lmao)

Hey Adi!

It's going to be a fun fun fun ride. The moment you get to hold your baby, EVERYTHING CHANGES.

You can work all day, and be beat and when you see your kiddo, everything dissapears.

Take a lot of pictures because the first year is going to go by so fast..the days will be long but the years will jump out.

I'm sure both of you will manage perfectly! all the systems you have in place, will be turned upside down and that's amazing too 😊

You got this!

Hey, my man! I can imagine that - can't wait to hold "it" haha. Taking pictures is something I plan to get better at - my memory sucks at any rate, so that's my only salvation.

Gonna develop crazier systems now 😏 - let's see how they hold up (please do)

Your life is about to get infinitely better. I was one of those people who worried that my life would end with kids. I can tell you without doubt, it actually began the day my daughter was born. Really happy for you! Savor every single second with your child. They fly by.

Thank you Randy, my man. I think that was me till 2 years back (but that was my life being out of control more than anything). I agree with the sentiment of your life beginning at that phase. I firmly believe that life has phases and each is crucial in it's own way.

Congrats on your upcoming bundle of joy!! That ultrasound picture with your baby throwing up a peace sign is too cool.
